the one where i lose my street cred.

what a wild weekend i had. i'm such a loner.

the one where i become proud of myself.

i framed my own painting, i actually really like the outcome. i don't like my photographing skills, though.

the one where i get annoyed.

the first one is fantastic mr. fox, my hero. the one below was something i made out of leftover framelists, so i had to fix those A LOT. i got really annoyed 'cause the lists were covered with some slippery paint so the fixingpaste wouldn't stick. you can see how ugly it looks on the back. learning at least how to control my nerves...

the one where my mother picks her father's nose.

photoframing. was a bit different way of doing this, the gluepaper had to be folded to make these little pockets so that the photo itself wouldn't be glued. sorry for the quality of the pics, i had a bit shaky hands.

the one where i get caffeine overdose.

a different hanging-mechanism on this one, because the frames were so narrow.

i actually thought it would have been a whole lot harder to make these (the big machines scared the hell out of me!) but it was a lot of fun. i feel confident about my decision to start studying this. can't wait to make more of these!

i'm fanni, and i study art framing in lahti, finland. i made this blog to document my work (and a little bit of art-related stuff too, made by either me or someone that i find interesting). i'll try to keep this updated as much as possible, and my posts will be more pictures than text. so, off we go -->
